Unit 4

This is my mood board. It shows images I will use and the colour scheme I have chosen. I Chose this colour scheme as it matches the Logo of the culture campaign.

The interactivity elements I am planning to include are an image carousel with photos that I have taken and a video external links to maps. I will include images that I have taken of the savoy, the cast and danum gallery alongside copyright free images from either wix or pexels. I will do this to allow the users of my website to see the places that my website is talking about and also to make my site more appealing for the users. I will edit the photos that I took on photoshop to make them look brighter by upping the saturation and changing the vibrance and I will also remove some blemishes and other things like a yellow fence in an image of the gallery and some rubbish from the fountain in the cast picture. I will also edit one of the pictures at cast to make it darker to make it seem like it was night. I will do this by lowering the vibrance, exposure and contrast. This report is about the legal and ethical issues I will face when creating my website, how they could impact my project and what I can do to solve these problems. The legal Issues I will likely face are copyright and Data protection and then the Ethical issues being offence and misrepresentation. The first issue I will address is the legal issue, Copyright. Copyright is when only the creator of products, and those given permission by the creator, have the right to use the product. This could impact my website through the use of images and videos. Certain images or videos I may want to use could be copyrighted. I could comply with this by finding my images from a copyright free website such as Pexels. All photos and videos on Pexels are Free to use, Giving credit to the photographer is not necessary and you can modify photos and videos. Alternatively I could take my own photos.   Then for videos I could again use copyright free videos from Pexels or alternatively ask the creator of a v
